THE L.O.A.A. REMEMBERS
CLIFTON L. JOHNSON
On Monday July 29th 2024 our acting community was shattered as we all suffered the tragic loss of our beloved student, classmate and friend Clifton Lee Johnson.
Cliff aka our "Samuel L. Jackson", a long time student of The L.o.a.a. since 2016, had reached the advanced stage of our training program and made tremendous strides in his professional career.
A Standup Comedian, Host and Actor, Clifton enjoyed being the life and light of any party making sure that everyone laughed and enjoyed themselves no matter what!
We here at Life of an Actor are devastated at the sudden loss of our beloved Cliff, but take some comfort in knowing that his presence will be forever felt through the many memories that he left us. We know that he is looking down on us and is still working hard to be fashionably funny so that we all keep a smile on our faces.
Please take a moment to support his surviving daughter Aubrey Rose Johnson by visiting the approved in memoriam site listed below.
We have also set up the Clifton L. Johnson Comedy Scholarship for those actors looking to train here at THE L.O.A.A. with a focus on performance through Standup or the Comedy genre.

It is very hard to measure one person's impact on your life. I have been privileged to take Chris's class for a very long time and during it he has helped me in many different ways. He is a fantastic human being who cares deeply for people... Chris' guidance will not only benefit you in the acting industry but will help you be a better, more wholesome individual. His technique will serve you regardless of your current level.

Armageddon Time, The Wonder Years

Before I started taking classes with Chris, I’d just be doing a bunch of auditions and never hearing back from most of them. But when I started doing classes with Chris, I’ve gotten so many more callbacks and so much knowledge when it comes to everything acting: preparing for auditions, what to do on set, learning scripts, and just overall becoming a true Actor. My biggest takeaway after being apart of The LOAA is the importance of storytelling as an Actor...Thank you Chris!

LOAA has a lot to offer...They have One on One coaching, Classes, Taping Services and Career Coaching. It doesn’t matter where you are in your career LOAA will help you out. Chris Greene knows the industry inside and out, and he makes sure that his students are informed...He has helped me with my confidence and becoming comfortable on camera. He also puts his students first...That really means a lot to me because he cares about my auditions...I am proud to call Chris Greene my coach.

I didn’t realize how much I needed acting lessons until I started attending LOAA. From scene study and script analysis, to improv and accessing real emotion, this class has taught me how to use the various tools necessary for telling a story as an actor. It's helped me grow in ways I never thought possible. I've not only learned and practiced the craft of acting itself, but I've learned how to approach this industry from a business perspective.
